Following international headlines and articles of interest is something I really enjoy. While the world scene has been grim in the last month, I also found some encouraging and inspiring articles, which I thought I might share:

You've heard of Small Pox and its eradication? Well Guinea Worm is gross, painful, and debilitating and it's about to be 2nd disease in world history to be eradicated ... brought about by the work of community health workers!
